Caverion strengthens its position as a lifecycle partner to demanding and critical industrial environments

Caverion Finland and IS-Technics oy have signed an agreement under which Caverion will acquire a business focused on demanding onsite machining and mechanical installations in shipyard and industrial environments from IS-Technics for through an asset transfer on 1 April 2026. The acquired business has annual revenue of approximately EUR 2 million. As part of the asset transfer, eight employees will transfer to Caverion.

The acquired business include demanding onsite machining and mechanical installations, as well as the manufacturing of customer specific, portable field machining equipment used in environments such as shipyards, power plants, nuclear power plants and pulp mills.

The asset transfer complements Caverion’s existing service offering in industrial maintenance and investment projects throughout the entire lifecycle of plants and facilities.

“In demanding and critical environments, such as shipyards and other industrial environments, repairs to turbines, generators or motor shafts, onsite machining is often a decisive factor when production downtime must be minimised. We have long appreciated your high level of expertise,” says Lauri Kousa, Head of District, Industrial Service Centers, Caverion.

Through the acquisition, approximately 30 longstanding industrial customers will transfer to Caverion, further strengthening the company’s position as a lifecycle partner for industrial clients.

“We are proud to bring our specialist expertise as part of Caverion’s services. We see significant opportunities to expand our current service offering and offer our services to Caverion’s existing industrial customers. We are joining Caverion’s organisation with confidence and enthusiasm,” says Jouni Nieminen, CEO of IS-Technics.
